Taking care of earthworms

Hina has started to raise earthworms that are good for our plants. She keeps them as pets.

When I was taking care of our plants, Hina and I found a small earthworm. Hina was very interested and she said she would like to have earthworms.

My friend, who is an agricultural vermicompost producer shared her earthworms with Hina. Hina is very happy with earthworms.

It’s important to know about how earthworms work for our nature. We can appreciate eating natural vegetables and fruits more.

We hope to see cocoons of earthworms soon. They can live for 8 years!

    1. Thank you for your comment. Nice to know that you are also unschooling. Earthworms seem easy for children to take care and they can learn so much from it. We are looking forward to see the earthworms grow and reproduce.
