Hina loves dogs so much. She donated to support an NGO which helps animals with problems.

When she saw a poster about a lost dog, she asked me to take pictures of it and share it on SNS. She thought the owner must be so sad and worried about their lost dog.

When we bought many donuts at a store, she shared most of them with the staff of her favorite restaurant. It was a surprise gift for them.

When we left the restaurant, she told the manager that she would save money so that she could give more.

She found that sharing brings happiness to the people who receive it AND to the people who share it.

Hina was happy to share.

Hina found minerals at a car parking in the city.

She was happy to find them and keep them as her collection.

When she is just walking in a city, she sometimes says she is bored. But recently she has been interested in coming to places with me even if it’s just a walking distance. It’s nothing special but she meets new people and talk to them.

She seems fine to talk to new people. She is so friendly. If the person is also friendly to her, she can make friends with them.

We are happy that people in Cambodia are friendly to children. They know how to talk with children as if they were old friends.

We got a new family member! The others day, we welcomed a university student to be a temporary member of our family. It’s similar to being a host family but we focus more on being a family for a while.

Hina was excited to have a new member home. When the guest arrived, Hina became a bit nervous but she introduced her pets to the guest. We went to a mall together.

Hina loved talking and sharing her thoughts and interests with him.

When we had dinner at the mall, staff thought that we were a real family.

Unschooling can be better we could invite people to come to our house since Hina can be exposed to new culture.

We would like to have more guests from now on. It’s also good for guests who are thinking about whether they should have a family. They can observe how a family is like in reality.

Hina got 48 color pens.

What we like about the pens is that their brush texture. It’s easy to express different thickness.

Usually we buy 12 colors or less for coloring since we can make colors by mixing other colors. But it’s hard to do so with pens. We also found that Hina uses many colors to express in details!

Colors come out nicely.

I’m excited to see artwork of Hina with more colors.

Hina is so excited about Halloween. She thought Halloween was in September.

She came to me with this make up, saying “Happy Halloween.”

She painted her face with watercolor.

It looks quite scary.

We will start to decorate our house for Halloween soon. We can make pumpkin dishes too.

It would be nice if we could invite children to a Halloween party.

Hina has started to raise earthworms that are good for our plants. She keeps them as pets.

When I was taking care of our plants, Hina and I found a small earthworm. Hina was very interested and she said she would like to have earthworms.

My friend, who is an agricultural vermicompost producer shared her earthworms with Hina. Hina is very happy with earthworms.

It’s important to know about how earthworms work for our nature. We can appreciate eating natural vegetables and fruits more.

We hope to see cocoons of earthworms soon. They can live for 8 years!

Hina enjoys playing monopoly junior

This is a very good game to play with a family. We can learn how to spend and invest money too. Hina won the first game, and lost for the second.

We enjoy this board game so much, and it is definitely our favorite. Hina told me that she would like to play the original monopoly after we play 10 games with monopoly junior.

The original monopoly is designed for 8+ while its junior is for 5+. Junior would take 30 minutes to play, and it’s a good length of playing for children.

Hina loves monopoly junior and she said she wanted to play it right after she woke up.

Hina learns new knowledge on YouTube. She also loves to understand logic and facts on YouTube.

Sometimes she finds things that are not true on YouTube and shares with me, telling why it’s not true.

Today she experimented what she has learned on YouTube. It was about how the weight affects when it falls down.

She explained what is said in the video was true by showing the experiment.

She loves thinking and sharing her thoughts. It’s impressive that she tries to find out facts by herself.

Hina made nutritious food her pet mice. It’s cheese, sunflower seeds, and leaves.

Hina observed how her mice enjoy the food and uploaded it to her YouTube channel.

She says she is happy to see other YouTubers love mice and she can learn knowledge from them.

Hina was fascinated about new clay and color pens because she can express her artwork more than ever.

This clay is soft and it doesn’t get dried. Hina can make shapes so especially that she is inspired to create something new.

These color pens are very strong that they won’t be broken but at the same time, they are very easy to draw.

We can draw almost on any materials. Hina drew on photos.

If she can express more with the materials such as pens and clay, she is more inspired to create.

We would like to look for more materials that are good for Hina. They don’t have to be expensive, rather they should be inspiring to us as if this is what we have been looking for!
